It is partially shaved for octave adjustment, so replacing it from a normal one will not only improve octave pitch but also give it a luxurious look and appearance.

Ukuleles come in various sizes.
If it is larger than the one you are replacing, you can shave it down, but if it is smaller, there is nothing you can do, so please check the size carefully.
