Moss Terrarium Blend Soil 500ml
This is an original soil blend for moss terrariums, formulated to help moss grow healthily.
[Contents] 500ml
Shipped in a resealable bag, making it very convenient for storage if you don't use it all at once.
For moss to grow healthily, the soil needs to be nutrient-poor (moss does not require nutrients), clean, granular to allow for good air and water circulation, and acidic, which moss prefers.
[Composition]
Hard Akadama Soil, Vermiculite, Rice Husk Charcoal, Peat Moss
? Hard Akadama Soil: This is a hard, base soil made from Akadama soil that has been sterilized at high temperatures and rounded using special technology, resulting in minimal crumbling. We use a fine-grained soil made in Japan, which is not typically found in home centers.
? Vermiculite: This soil is derived from minerals and has a layered structure of thin sheets with many gaps and pores. Therefore, it has excellent drainage while retaining adequate moisture.
? Rice Husk Charcoal: Made from domestic rice husks carbonized in a low-oxygen environment, it adsorbs accumulated waste products and ammonia.
? Peat Moss: This is peat, formed from the accumulation of plants like sphagnum moss, which has been dried and finely crushed. It is an acidic soil.
