Suiseki (Viewing Stone) - Sajigawa Stone - "Hōrai Senkyō" (Immortal Realm of Penglai) - Stand by Genshoku Kosaka - Display Stone
Size: Approximately 20cm (height) x 10.2cm (width), 529g
Inscription: 【Hōrai Senkyō】 (Mount Olympus/Fairyland)
This is an extremely hard Sajigawa stone that produces a high-pitched ringing sound when struck. The jet-black, saw-toothed surface is considered exceptional even among Sajigawa stones and is very rare. While such hardness makes it difficult for the stone to exhibit natural scenery, this stone displays a perfect mountain-like form reminiscent of a fairyland.
The base is crafted by the master craftsman Gensho Kosaka and is wonderfully made despite its small size.
*Please check the image for a minor chip on the base in an inconspicuous area.
*The display stand and tea whisk are not included.
