This is a handmade striking stick (shumoku) made for Danjiri festival gongs (kane).

It has a substantial feel due to the thick bamboo handle and the use of high-quality deer antler.

The gap between the deer antler and the handle is filled with adhesive, and small brass nails are used for fixation.

Handle: Approximately 28 cm

Antler: Approximately 10.5 cm

Total Length: Approximately 30 cm

I believe I understand what makes a good striking stick, but please understand that as this is a handmade item, I cannot guarantee its durability. (Please rest assured, it has been tested.)
