Yashica 44 35mm Film Camera (with film)
The Yashica 44 is a camera that takes 12 exposures using 4x4cm 127 film.
Since 127 film is no longer manufactured, this camera has been modified to shoot with 35mm film. A 35mm metal spool has been fabricated and the film is loaded into the camera.
It can take 24 exposures with 35mm film. The crank-style film advance ensures even winding without overlapping frames. After taking 12 exposures, you can reset the counter and take another 12 exposures.
The Yashica 44 model, launched in mid-1958, was inspired by the Baby Rolleiflex 4x4, which debuted in September 1957, and became a popular camera. It was a stylish camera for its time, with color versions appealing to women, such as the seven Symphonic Color options.
Furthermore, the 4x4 format also led to the Super Slide boom.
The small 35mm film canister is valuable. After shooting, please reload the film into the small canister for reuse.
This is a highly refined camera. As it is a favorite of mine, I have three in my collection. All three have had their lenses, shutters, and viewfinders cleaned. I believe they are all in good condition with very little scratching, fungus, or dust. I will be selling one of them.
Once you advance the film once and charge the shutter, you can start shooting immediately. (Includes film, expired.)
Thank you for your consideration.
