Domestic Violence

Domestic violence is the use of physical violence, the threat of violence, or harmful psychological or emotional tactics against another individual in a person’s family. Domestic violence can be a misdemeanor or felony offense, depending on the nature of the crime and the presence or absence of physical injuries to the witness/victim.
